Having travelled the Johannesburg to Vilanculos route for many years — and operated within the Sanctuary and Bazaruto area ourselves — we’ve come to know the stays, experiences and quieter corners that make this part of Mozambique special.
Days here can be spent island hopping across the Bazaruto Archipelago, diving coral reefs, exploring local markets, horse riding along the shoreline, enjoying dhow cruises at sunset or simply slowing down beside the Indian Ocean.
